Which 3D printer suits me?

Five questions. At the end we do not say “buy this one”: we say what kind of machine you are looking for and which of the models we document fit that profile.

Question 1 of 5

What will you print most of the time?

How to read this recommendation

This is an editorial recommendation built from the specifications each manufacturer publishes. TRIDYsign has not tested these machines: we did not measure accuracy, noise or failure rate. The list is limited to the models we document, so there are good printers missing here simply because we do not cover them yet. We also do not consider price, because we publish no verified prices.

Indicative estimate. Real consumption depends on your slicer, your machine and your settings.

How it is calculated

Formula

perfil = f(uso, tamaño_de_pieza, experiencia, materiales_tecnicos) → criterios = { tecnologia (FDM|resina), cerramiento_requerido, lado_minimo_mm, multimaterial_deseable }; coincidencias = catalogo.filtrar(tecnologia ∧ cerramiento ∧ volumen) ordenadas por criterios blandos (multimaterial, nivelación automática). Sin precio: no publicamos precios sin fecha de verificación.

Assumptions

  • Budget is asked in qualitative tiers, not pesos: we have no verified price and the schema forbids publishing prices without a date.
  • It filters only over the printers we document, not the whole market.
  • A specification the manufacturer does not publish never counts as satisfied: if enclosure is unknown, the machine is excluded when you ask for one.
  • Technology, enclosure and build volume are hard filters; multi-material and auto-levelling only reorder.

Limitations

  • TRIDYsign has not tested any of these machines: the recommendation comes from manufacturer-stated specifications.
  • It ignores price, availability in Mexico, warranty and support, because we do not have that data verified yet.
  • The size brackets (110 / 200 / 280 mm per side) are an editorial criterion, not a standard.
  • If no printer matches, we say so: we do not quietly loosen the filter to fill the list.
