PLA+
PLA+ is not a different plastic: it is PLA with additives that raise toughness and impact resistance without changing how you print it. The name is commercial, not standardised, so every brand formulates its own. eSUN, which popularised the label, publishes 1.24 g/cm³ density, 190–230 °C extruder and 45–60 °C bed for its PLA+.
Safety and handling
Same precautions as PLA: ventilate the room, do not touch the hot nozzle or bed, and keep the machine away from children. Because it is a proprietary blend, the only valid safety data sheet is the one from the brand you actually bought; download it from their site before printing in a shared or closed space.

Strengths
- Less brittle than plain PLA: it takes knocks and twisting better
- Prints just as easily, with the same slicer profiles
- More even surface and less stringing than many cheap PLAs
- Widely available in Mexico, in specialist shops and marketplaces alike
Weaknesses
- 'PLA+' is a marketing label with no standard behind it: two brands can mean different things
- It is still PLA: it softens at similar temperatures and is not for outdoor use
- The maker specifies a heated bed, unlike plain PLA
- Usually costs more per kilo than standard PLA
