Resina estándar
The general-purpose resin for MSLA printers: good detail, fast curing and a low price. Anycubic publishes 1.05 to 1.25 g/cm³ density to ASTM D792 for its Standard Resin V2 (we use the midpoint, 1.15), 250–350 mPa·s viscosity at 25 °C, 20–40 s bottom-layer exposure and 2.5–3 s normal exposure, at a 405 nm wavelength.
Safety and handling
This is the part you cannot skip. Always wear nitrile gloves (latex does not protect well against acrylates) and safety glasses, and work in a ventilated room or with extraction outdoors; Prusa also recommends a simple respirator if the smell bothers you. Never touch liquid resin or an uncured part with bare skin: if it happens, wash immediately with soap and water, and if itching or any discomfort appears, seek medical attention. Some people develop an allergy with repeated exposure. Used resin and isopropyl alcohol are hazardous waste: they do not go down the drain or into household rubbish; cure them in sunlight until solid and take them to a hazardous-waste collection point. Empty bottles do not go in normal rubbish either. Keep everything away from children and pets, and store resin in its original opaque container.

Strengths
- Far more detail than any filament: 0.05 mm layers and finer
- Fast curing: 2.5–3 s per layer in Anycubic's V2 formulation
- The cheapest resin and the easiest to find
- Works with any 405 nm LCD or DLP printer
- Good surface hardness (Shore D 80–83)
Weaknesses
- Liquid resin is irritant and sensitising: it always requires gloves and ventilation
- Volume shrinkage of 4.3 to 5.6 %, which warps flat parts
- Mandatory post-processing: alcohol wash and UV cure
- Parts are more brittle than ABS or nylon
- Disposing of used resin and alcohol is a genuine logistical problem
